  • Since the weather changed over here on the east coast, I haven’t been out taking as many photos as usual.Wait, let me tell you the truth… I haven’t taken any at all.So the other day I dusted off an app called Filterstorm sitting in one of the many unused folders on my iPhone.

    The photo below with the grainy horse statues was edited with this app.

  • Basically, I took two photos – one taken with my iPhone 4 (horse statues) and the background (clouds) taken with my spanking new iPhone 5 and blended them.Below is a photo of a little better quality edited with Filterstorm… Less grainy :)

  • Both of these photos were taken with my iPhone 5 using the 645Pro camera app.Note: I used a stylus pen to touch up the photos in BlurFX and while blending the photos in Filterstorm.Here is a video demo of some of Filterstorm’s features.

  • If you are serious about your mobile photography then this app is worth investing $3.99 and taking the time to learn how to utilize this app.I’m just beginning to scratch the surface of this powerful editing suite.There is also a Pro Version that will set you back $14.99 … but right now that’s a little too much for me to invest in an app I’m not going to be using commercially.
